week 8 notes: -God listens as long as we are willing to talk. -you need to be strong enough to choose the good decision everytime. -time is never for sale. -Where your treasure is there may your body be also. -engage God, study scriptures, apply the principles, live standards, draw nearer to god. -if you don't have time to read and study your scriptures you are busier than god ever intended you to be. -have you spiritually been born of god? (had a mighty change of heart) -have you been saved by the atonement? have you been changed by the atonement? -repentance isn't only righting the wrong but actually changing -remission of sins = healing of sins -atone is to restore harmony -we aren't perfect and god expects perfection that's where the atonement comes in. -give me all you have and i'll make up the difference -the atonement is personal to all of us scriptures: -time to prepare & good better and best (Two talks to read) - Matthew 6:22 -D&
