[ homecoming week: saturday }
The day has finally come homecoming week is almost over..but really its not i still had done a million things today! :) and heres the list!
SATURDAY:
@ the Gasienicas
- i went over to the Gasienicas in the morning cause they are moving..after 100 years they are finally giving up on Suncrest :( chicago here they come..be ready.
-i bawled before Sabina was even home from getting breakfast with friends!
-i wasn't as dedicated as Josh and whoever else that slept in front of her house in their car all night but i'll definately miss her more than they will..shes been my best friend since kindergarten i'll miss her :(
@ our day date
-nate and carter came to pick me up, my whole family was all ready by the door when i came down stairs..i bet that was intimidating!
-we went to Mulligans to mini golf..it was my first time, but i think i got the hang of it.
-nate and i were doing pretty well together for awhile then he got a hole in one on a hard hole and didn't even watch it go in..it was the craziest thing!!
-but after that hole in one our good streak was over. :( sadly we weren't too good on the last half :(
-there were a couple times the hole just seemed to move around but don't even worry thats what Justin and Aaron are for..the backstops!
-oh then there was another time where this girl, Hayley Killpack..idk if you know her or not but she totally stepped in the way of my shot, i know she did it on purpose cause shes just one of "those" kind of people but i just didn't feel like getting in a fight so we just walked to the next hole ;)
-on the way home it was just me and the boys (carter, aaron and nate) driving all the way up to no-mans-land..sorry you had to come all the way up there like 4 times that day! it was a pretty fun car ride..and yes it sucks to live in suncrest and takes me about 20-25 minutes to get to school..got asked that a couple times!
@ my house getting ready for the dance
-my mom wasn't even home until like 10 minutes before nate and carter showed up.
-i had about an hour to get ready and i did it!! good thing i curled my hair before!!
-i was kinda stressin cause i didn't have the boutonierre, fabric tape or my make up done...so i was kinda turning into a homecomingzilla.. yikes lets shake that one off..
@ Elijah Glissmeyers for pictures
-we were late for pictures so we aren't in a lot of them..
-our group of like 50 people couldn't all fit in the picture but its all good cause our group was a blast!
-i am pretty sure i was taller than nate in some pictures the guys stood behind and i don't think you can see him..
-tanner sansom and kolton seeborg are the sweetest they both told me i looked way nice at least twice! thanks guys i really ment a lot! :)
@ Rodizio's Grill dinner
-on the way to dinner we got a little confused to where we were going. we were NOT lost because Carter Heslop does not get lost, he is really good with directions (but really he is). Siri was just messing us up she wanted us to go straight then make a u turn because going left just isn't good enough anymore? crazy phone!
-we finally got there and was the last group to get there...again. seems to happen to us a lot. ;)
-dinner was amazing! the only thing that was disgusting and i think everyone would agree to this was the chicken heart...if i hadn't smelled it maybe i would have eaten it but after i watched aaron eat it his face said it all...nasty! (nate and i chickened out..we didn't eat it!)
-i ate so much it wasn't even funny, everything was just so good i couldn't help myself!
-we had a couple toasts go on. the first by the one and only student body president Bridger Pennington, he toasted to our Homecoming Royalty, Hayley Killpack (yes she was in my group, yes i was honored!) then our second one was by Tanner Sansom, to everyone on how good they looked and i don't really remember what else but it was a good one Tan!
-we yelled our school song with the clapping, yelling and everything..
-we clapped for Happy Birthday sung in Portuguese i think they said? it was way cool.
-we had a little throw back moment and the guys had a spit ball fight..Kelsey and Mckayla got hit luckily i didn't cause thats just nasty..i guess that was a perk of being at the very end of the table!
-Mckayla got some very stunning photos of aaron and carter..why don't they model really? they should! they are just so photogenic its crazy!
-i think a lot more went on but i can't really remember..
@ the dance
-our group picture..we did my signature move.. kissy face peace signs..i didn't even come up with it but man that was great!
-we kinda left out a couple or two out of our group pictures...oh shoot! sorry guys!
-we could barely fit everyone in the picture..it was crazy town!
-but we did it and i can't wait to see them!
-dancing was CRAZY!! boys are so lucky they don't have to wear dresses and heels, given us girls don't either but i just fell in love with my shoes i had to wear them!
-i think i broke my toe someone stepped on it. i think it was Landon Albrect but i'm not 100% sure. but someone stepped on it and now today its all black and blue :/ not fun!
-my dress..oh hannah.. it was terrible..i knew i should have sewed the shirt onto my dress but i didn't and it was falling out the whole night..it was awkward and terrible!
-on one of the slow songs i couldn't find nate so i was just kinda awkwardly in the middle so we did a little three way dance with Kenzie middleton and Bridger Pennington..can i just say that those two are so good at dancing its crazy!
-chase and hanah..you two have got it coming for ya! ;)
-hanah...girl you have got some moves its seriously amazing! you will definitely have to teach me some of those for the Halloween dance!
-i think there is a lot more to say but this post is getting way too long.
@ mitch page's house for swimming and the fire
-Carter Heslop is an amazing story teller..really he is, we got the history behind fire..did you know it was originally square? i didn't...crazy things you learn from sitting around a fire!
-my stomach started hurting and it was pretty bad..that delicious food from dinner wasn't settling right.. :(
-kelsey carter nate and i left to get me home and we had quite the sing a long up to suncrest it was funny! :)
The night ended kinda early at 11:50ish..but its kinda a good thing cause i am pretty sure i got food poisoning cause my stomach was so queezy.. bleck. not fun..but the dance...VERY fun.
over all..for my first dance it kinda set the bar high for the rest of them! :) for the thousandth time thanks Nate! :) (maybe you are reading this since you said you have, maybe your not..what ever! haha) i just felt the need to post something on every social network site there is.. just kidding..but i kinda think i have..
