•• morning side ••

Today has been an absolutely great day! I woke up this morning super early, 5:30 to be exact to go to the morning side! And man it was well worth the 5 hours of sleep I got because of it!! It was purely spirit driven!

First we sang Now Let Us Rejoice, which was simply amazing! Even though it was super high and Sarah and I couldn't even sing it!

After that Alex Jolley spoke, he said this scripture D & C 18:16 and I love it! Definitely one of my favorite scriptures now, and he told the story of Bopko and him turning their lives around and Bopko getting baptized which is an amazing story! Thanks Alex! :)

Then Jaimee spoke, holy cow, I felt the spirit so much in that talk! This girl is such a great example to everyone, I mean vein the only LDS member in your family is tough but she keeps going and I am so impressed with this girl! Thank you for sharing your testimony with all of us it touched my heart!

Then Sister Joyce spoke and man I can definitely see why people would see her as a threat being single with no married friends cause man she is a great lady! I would gladly adopt her as my grandma! She read 1st Nephi 2:16, and to be 100% honest I don't really remember what it's about all I remember is that it's a good scripture! She is so cute and I'm
Honored I got to talk to her before the meeting started because she is now friends with Nephi! Which is pretty cool but she is also friends with the Sons of Helaman! She says that they give her hope and I agree they are pretty great guys! The Dream Team according to her is Alma and his team of men going to convert the Zoromites.
Girls pay attention go read Alma 43-48 and tell me if you want anyone other than another guy like Captain Moroni.
BOYS attention here. BE CAPTAIN MORONI!

After Sister Joyce talked Brother Joyce spoke and man he reminded me of a family friend, Dale Draeger, it was crazy! He talked about Uchtdorf's talk in the February Ensign. I haven't read it yet but when I do I'll tell you what I thought about it! Brother Joyce reminded us all to be lights of the gospel. He also told us all that we are always preaching the gospel but to use words when necessary. And I think that's way cool because people know we are mormon so they watch us and all of our actions, I never really thought of it that way before. He also asked a few questions and one was if you were in a court trial being tried as a mormon would there be enough evidence to convict you as a mormon? If you think about it is so eye opening, could someone "convict" you of being a mormon? And he ended with the question, What kind of light are you to the world? Think about it

I hope you all went and this is just a recap for you but if not come to the one next month!! :)

Happy Spiritual Morning-side Thursday :)
