its already week 6 of spiritual sunday!
today in church Ashleigh gave a talk and it was amazing! :) She is such a great example to me and i love her so much! shes my little sister! (i must tell you all that i sat in the middle of the bench and she looked at me 4 times..and she laughed! dang i am good! :) sorry asher i had to!)
notes:
=don't visit people in the graveyard visit them in the temple.
ashleigh's talk:
=we all have been given special gifts, there is no need to compare our selves because we are all unique.
=The light of Christ is in everyone it may be deep or on the surface but its always there.
=our patriarchal blessing is our own personal road map on the straight and narrow path.
sister jones:
=i know it. i live it. i love it. -ann m. dibb
=you can say i know -ensign
=helping others not only helps them in their conversion but also your own.
=a real conversion to the church is determined by the way you live everyday.
=add a 5th part to "I'm a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it. + I am becoming it."
brother jones:
=its upon the rock of the redeemer that we can start to build our testimony.
=when you have trials don't veer off the path, just ask for directions.
=if we fill our time with doubt and fear we leave no room for faith and truth.
=we can rely on God for help and strength at anytime and in any place.
sunday school:
=people will always try to degrade you, but you have to always look up (moses 1:12-13)
=Satan uses a loud voice chanting at you not a still small voice.
=satan only left when Moses uses the saviors name to cast him out, we are nothing with out the savior.
=we all learned about the gospel before we came here, and in true conversion we remember we have already learned it.
young womens:
=adversity strengthens your faith.
=every diamond starts out as a rock but its put under much pressure and heat (trials and tribulations) to become a diamond in the end.
=in adversity in your life think to your self.
-how can i grow?
-who can i help?
-what can i do?
(positive ways to get through it not that its hard)
=if you handle your adversities well you will be exhalted.
=thank you for loving me enough to hurt me -current bush
=the story of cutting the current bush in God is the Gardener.
=if i let you go the way you want to you will never amount to anything.

- pray to Heavenly Father and have him help you with your burdens.
- read your scriptures daily
- attend the temple ( I am wanting to go every Saturday, does anyone wanna come with me? )
- look for god in everything you do.
- make good choices
- write a letter to a missionary
- live like you could leave on your mission tomorrow
- ask Heavenly Father for opportunities to serve
- live your life so that when you are prompted by the Holy Ghost you feel it and act on it
- not only do something but become something in the church.
- actively look for solutions/answers in your life.
