today i shot the tube for the first time, and let me just say it was a blast! i had the best time, even though it was over cast and the water was numbing cold. i had the best time ever.
my coworkers are the best. we always have a good time and do crazy things. and sometimes my mom is a party pooper like today. she texts me even though i had already left and said. "ok i'm finding more out about this. Is it safe? Is it legal?" and "I just saw it on youtube.....don't like it. No more until youre 18. You better come home alive w/o injury." she is a crazy mom. i went bridge jumping at the lehi bridge and actually got hurt with bruises and a swollen knee and this, harmless and legal she is freaking out even more. no more til im 18? mom, i'm sorry but thats not gonna happen! next summer is still a year away. i can't wait that long to have fun!
but other than shooting the tube today has been a pretty amazing day. i got to sleep in. see crazy eli at work for a few minutes. hang out with friends. shoot the tube. have amazing food at shivers. take a 2 hour nap. chill at home. go to the library for a new book. its crazy what i can do when i don't work all day! right now. i am chillin on my front porch writing this blog post
the stars are stunning, the crickets are playing a beautiful melody, the moon hasn't come out yet or is covered by clouds. its so peaceful i love it! this is one of the few perks of living in suncrest is that even though your still in the city you kinda have a country life with all the nature and beauty around us. i love that cause i am definitely a country girl over a city girl any day!
today is just one of those summer days that you just want to hold onto for forever! there is only about a month left this summer and i am going to live it up. hang out with friends, hopefully go to cali, go to mona, hang out with my EFY friends, read a few books, see a couple movies, (crossing my fingers) go on a few dates and so much more.
summer 2k13 has been a good one so far, lets see what else i can do.
