Children... GET INVOLVED IN SCHOOL.

You know those people who don't go to games, don't like dances, don't dress up for spirit week, aren't involved in sports, aren't involved in clubs. I really don't know why they aren't. I want them to be so badly.

My goal in high school be in the year book as much as possible.  Like I want to be remembered. I don't want to be just another face. I want people to point at my picture and tell a story about something I did, or say something about me.

Last year I was talking to Sarah after I didn't make SBO she was driving me home and I was just bawling, we were talking and I remember I said I want to be somebody in high school. I don't necessarily want to be popular but I want to be a Paige Cavaness, Ali Wright or Jake Smith. When someone says your name people know who you are, for a good reason. Paige was crazy, is crazy actually, but she was so outgoing so she met everyone. Ali is so sweet, she would always compliment everyone and since she was an SBO it meant so much to the, because they knew she was sincere. And Jake, everyday we would stay after school till 3 just talking, our conversation would be interrupted a billion times with a handshake, yelling at someone, or someone coming and attacking him. He was one of the coolest kids at Alta and he knew everyone and was a great influence because of his good example.

That's what I want. To be that kind of someone in high school.

My Social goals:
-compliment 5 people a day
-smile at everyone
-say hi to as many people as I can, by name

  1. Jordyn anyone can be those people that people remember!!! The key thing about those people is that they make their day about others, they NEVER go into something wanting to be thanked for it, and I know that most of the time they don't get recognized for it. The important thing is that they do what they do because they simply like to see others smile, not because they know people are watching them make someone smile.
