| HOMECOMING |
okay folks, i am back.
and it is homecoming week. and lets just say its a week of no sleep, no relaxing. i literally have something planned every second of everyday this week, sometimes over lapping.
like yesterday monday.
I wake up normally at 5:30 and get ready for early morning seminary, with the best teacher in the world, might i add.
so i had that then school, and that's just draining enough. then as most of you know i found out last week that i made it to the top six for royalty we had an assembly practice after school and it was at 2:30 p.m. BUT i had a powder puff game at 2:45 p.m. so i hurried to the practice, got the info i needed and then had to go to the game. Sexy Silver lost their first game against Whitey Tightys, and man that team was rough, i know i got some bruises in that one. next we played the black plague, we had scrimmaged them before and they were so fun to play, the white team we took seriously but gaby and i were goofing off and acting like octopuses through the game. it was hilarious, but we beat the black plague and now they play tomorrow / good luck girls /
after that then i went home and got everything ready for tuesday
oh man tuesday, so long, so i had to get up at 5:20 to get ready for the day cause i had to leave the house early to get here on time for the practice, the royalty walk was so funny because Porter Thorkelson, my escort, wasn't there he was at the hospital because his sister had a baby! Which is probably the cutest reason why he wasn't there. But instead i got escorted by THEE Tyler Teerlink, he is the cutest kid ever! like really if you have beef with this kid there is something majorly wrong. but you couldn't really hear my bio but i'll tell it to now don't worry. "Jordyn Standage, She likes long romantic walks to the fridge, she breeds cats cause they make her feel all warm and fuzzy inside, the real reason she has been sick lately is because she has nodes but she is a survivor. She is the President of HOSA and VP of ASL. She loves being a charger and can't wait to see what this year has to offer her." (maybe a little different, i can't really remember) but it was a blast, i love all the nominees especially the girls, they are all gorgeous and i don't like being compared to them cause they are all perfect i swear, but i am happy i made it into the assembly, sad we didn't get to do our relay, but so happy i made top 6. thank you all!
but lets talk the assembly here is my top things:
1. Le Chargerettes (Ebeling singing)
2. The teachers dance
3. Kenz Hall (I want to be her!)
4. The relay race
5. The tumble off
6. All the cheer, drill, band performances
and obviously i loved the parts i was in too but i'll skip those on the list!
BUT i also loved having all the Alta SBO's there, it was so cute to have a little bit of Alta at CC. I am 100% supporter of Alta Canyon. it was good to see them, i miss them all, and am sad we didn't get a picture. But we love you guys and miss you!
Corner Canyon SBOS:
You guys are awesome, that was a very hectic assembly but it was awesome. I think everyone would have gladly watched the boys dance again and again. i mean we got the gas pedal part many times. those guys can dance. but let me just give a huge shout out to COLEMAN PLUMMER and TYSON(?) and RYLIE OGDEN i LOVED them, they were hilarious! But anyways SBOs you did amazing keep it up!
tomorrow is WESTERN WEDNESDAY so you all better be dressed up, school spirit my goodness kids of CC - i'll be blunt - you guys suck when it comes to school spirit! you lack a lot, at games, assemblies, dressing up. i mean really would it kill ya?
