YMAD - Operation Shaanti - Spring 2014

India, I am coming, I am on my way. Preparing by doing many hours of leadership training. And many hours of dancing, and even more preparing to teach. But most of all I'm preparing by fundrasing which is basically happening all day everyday. I have $2,220 and I only have $1500 more to earn chich is a lot, but I've already earned more than half, just by manual labor. I am going to tesr up the field in real fundraising and not to mention letters!!

This is where you come in. I am having a "garage sale" I am going to be starting an online closet, selling all of my old clothes, bags, anything really. BUT if you have old clothes or items you want to get rid of contact me (801-560-1852 texting works best or email me @ jordynstandage5@gmail.com) I need all the help I can get to get me personally to India.  But think about it, if you are helping me earn money to get to India, and use in India you also are going to India, a little part of you gets to travel with me to India, isnt that cool?

If you dont know why I am going to India let me tell you, I am going with an organization called YMAD. YMAD takes a group of teenagers from all over the Salt Lake Valley. Including schools like Brighton, Bingham, Alta, East, Highland, Lone Peak its amazing, my group is the cutest! I love them all. We have been going to meetings, retreats and workshops for a few months now. Its the best kind of service hours you could imagine! I get to hang out with so many people preparing cultural exchanges, values and education workshops for the children. I am going to India over Spring Break to help the orphans there, and I couldnt be more excited, honestly it is always on my mind.

But if you have any jobs for me assisting, running errands, running kids to activities, weeding, babysitting, cleaning your garbage, watching animals, washing windows, etc. Please let me know, ask your friends and neighbors because I would be more than willing to help anyone out.

Thanks for all the support in helping me get to India, let me know if you have jobs or clothes for me to do. I need every last penny :)
