i can feel it, its in my grasp.. summer is almost here, that means tan skin, light hair and summer fun! I have so many fun plans this summer i can't wait! But i can only feel summer because this past weekend just felt like summer. On Friday night, we had our soft opening for the pool, and even though i couldn't work i was still there to hang out and support my "merpeople" On Saturday I hung out at my house, I think, I didn't really do anything until late, when I went for a drive and Jake called me after he got off work and we went to this building and star gazed and talked! He's easily one of my favorite people because even though we didn't do anything super crazy and what not we still had a good time just chillin on the roof! but dang i am sore from climbing up there. it wasn't hard i just don't work out anymore. Everyday after school I just want to come home and sleep.. I can't fall asleep at night, I am up till 1 am every single night. and I don't know why I am usually laying down ready for bed around 10:30 I watch Netflix until 11ish then i lay in bed trying to find a comfortable spot on my bed so i can fall asleep, but I never do its the worst. so i come home from school and just sleep. so i haven't blogged in forever. But a TON has happened!! Friday was Corner Canyon's Senior Dinner Dance, and it was amazing. Shout out to one of my best friends, Brandon, for doing so much to get that ready it turned out so amazing! Ashley and I rode trax down with Chandler Ewell, Tanner Jensen and Josh Miller.. it was a fun time.. Then we got to the dance and the food was so amazing because we were all so starving! Okay yikes, it has been a really long time. But let me just tell you have I been a busy busy girl! its been 10 days since i have blogged... i don't even know where to begin. I'll start with Friday the 2nd On Friday I went to go watch Jacob play some soccer, and lets just say he is pretty good! After that not much happened, I dropped him off at home then went to get food with Austin and Emily then went back to Austins house and watched some Pirates!! Saturday was Unpacking day and lets just say it was so fun to see all my Shaanti siblings again, even though it had only been a week since i had last seen them, even less for a few of them. but it was fun. on the way home i raced jacob and blake just like good old times and i totally beat them. but then i went on a hike by my self and finished up my YMAD journals and that was amazing, after that I met up with Brando and Nick Thorsen. sorry I haven't posted on here in forever I swear, yeah i posted a few days ago but that was just a reblog from my YMAD one. I am going to try to explain to you what happened in India. But words can't describe what happened over there. first of all after about 50ish hours of straight traveling (planes and buses) we finally arrive in Jibhi, its late when we get there and we have to go teach the next day so we all head to bed! Monday morning we are all giddy to go meet our kids. I had the honor of going to the Thanah school, which was a challenge because I hurt my ankle earlier in the airport. But my 15 minute hike was so worth it! On the first day we get up to the school and kids are saying their prayers, it was really cool to see that on the first day. After they came and said Namaste to us and kissed our feet we met as a group for the first time, it was unreal. I was in India with kids I had only met for 10 or so minutes and they had already stole my heart, and I wasn...

I got back from Jibhi, India at about 7 o'clock yesterday and lets just say that I wish I was still there. Whenever I look at the clock I convert it to Jibhi time and think of what I would be doing if I was still up at Jibhi camp. Right now I would be teaching the kids the 2nd lesson of the day and they would be going bonkers because they are so excited to get to play with us! I am wide awake even though I have basically been asleep since 4 am this morning. but I am up, and will probably be up for awhile. i have looked through all of my pictures about a million times and I am still planning on going through them again tonight. I don't even  know how to express my feelings about my trip because all I can say is that it was amazing and I loved every second of it, I want to go on a rant about Sunita and Shabu and the fights i had with Tanner, and playing Perudo til 1 or 2 every night with jake it the kitchen. I know you all know that I'm going to India, but the day has finally arrived I really am going! I have been working for an entire year now and I couldn't be more excited to spend it with my best friends. Through YMAD you have about 300 meetings (just kidding) and you get to know each other pretty well, I hang out with my YMAD family just about every weekend. And I love it! Tomorrow is the day where my dreams come true. 2 years ago I would have never imagined this past year to go how it did. I am going half way across the world to Jibhi, India with 25 kids from across the Salt Lake Valley. Tomorrow is also a really big day for my friends Austin, Jenna and Eden. I pray that CC has a brain and voted for them. They are amazing people and I love them so much!! :) ALSO its an even bigger day to my Riverton homies Dragon, Hollis and Jake, they find out about SBO! okay, teachers are supposed to be smarter than us right.. but let me share my frustration with you about my teachers.. My math teacher bless his heart he is clueless about everything going on... including math.. But I gave him a month advance warning and I finished all my assignments like 3 weeks early. Great right. I didn't do the review though because I wanted to wait until I got back to do that so I could study before I took the test when I get back, his response to that, " No you should probably do the review before you leave cause i wont open it back up for you after. or you could print it off" Its like 7 billion questions no way in heck am i printing it off.. sorry.
