this summer, summer 2014 is coming to a close. and its bittersweet. I am so excited for Snow, and meeting my cute roomates an all the fun adventures i will go on down there. but i just don't want to move away from my best friends and go into the unknown. i was joined at the hip with C$ and Berbs all summer. and when I said my final goodbye to them yesterday i just felt like apart of me was gone. we would do everything together. - get food - run errands - shop - get food  - have late night chats - sit around - watch movies - get food - have burping contests - have full on wrestling matches over my phone everything.  they went to san diego with out me and i'm so sad, i'm going to miss them.  so i got them a few things to survive.  - a water gun - socks - merica bandana (C$) - training bra (berbs) - tampon holder (C$) - a card then josh gave me his bandana that i can only wear like tupac and i was more than ...

I am getting kinda nostalgic. I am leaving my house of 14 years. I have lived most of my life in this house in the same room. And I don't want to leave. I don't want to leave my best friends back here in the Salt Lake Valley. I love having my late night chats/wrestling practice with Josh and Christian. I love going crazy and having some interesting days with Sarah, Maria and Hope. I'm gonna miss hanging out with Jacob and doing absolutely nothing but still loving every second. I'll miss running through the sprinklers at the park and watching cooper and tanner go crazy with Austin. I'm going to miss being crazy and laughing my head off with Andrea and Sophie. And I'll even miss the pool and all the madness that goes on there. I have had a mellow but amazing summer with the most amazing people. I wouldn't have changed one second of it for anything. BUT at the same time i am looking forward to moving out and going down to snow, living with my cute roomm...

so last week was the 24th but i have to back up to the 23rd to fully tell this story.. I worked 6am to noon then 4:30 to 9pm. i stayed up till midnight then on the 24th i had another 6 am to noon then had to come back to work at 3-6... it sucked but not even cause the 6 am split shifts.. listen to this. so bae (Holden) came to swim and we were just watching him and berbs was annoyed that he came so he hid his towel in the girls locker room locker 25. but then bae got out and he freaked out and it was hilarious until he took me as hostage with eli and josh just watching...berbs said they don't negotiate with terrorists and that's when bae threw me in. yes HE THREW ME IN IN FULL SWEATS. that's not cool.. throwing me in yeah that's usual.. in full sweats thats not. i was gonna kill him. i still hate him right now. after that we didn't think anyone would come swimming cause its a utah holiday. but we had one swimmer. so i went out to guard for him. i go out there an...

     shoot, i am really bad at this lately its been rough this summer.. no real journeys with jordyn. I wish i was going to california or something to end my summer but no i am working working working. BUT I AM ALMOST READY TO BUY A CAR. Finally! ^^ Josh (berbs)     So just so you know the few journeys i go on always involve food. I hang out with Berbs and C$ basically everyday. and we never actually do anything. we go out to get food (Smash burger, ihop, dennys, mcdonalds, daylight doughnuts, buffalo wild wings, krispy kreme, dunkin doughnuts) yeah we are some fat lifeguards. ^^ Christian (C$ or Black Dynamite)  but other than getting food we like to sit in the clubhouse parking lot and talk about life. if i wasn't there it would be just cars and girls and stupid stuff they have done. but since im there they talk about cars, girls, stupid stuff they have done and they ask me about my life. (aka just make fun of me cause of the human ken doll)....

so its been awhile since i blogged and honestly not much has happened. but on the 4th of july i worked all day. and it was crazy. we had a few saves and a kid throw up in the pool... we really shouldn't give out free hot dogs.. not that smart. but anyways that was just straight up terrible. i lost my chapstick, i got stuck on break with one of my least favorite guards, i broke my sun glasses, i forgot my food, and it was just plain madness at the pool.. but after work i came home took a nap then went to riverton town days for a little and hung out with a few friends there then went over to the splash park with my coworkers for a night on my toes.. no joke i stood on top of the table for half the night because all the guys were throwing fireworks at my feet. but my coworkers are the best and i wouldn't have wanted to spend the 4th anywhere else! then a ton of work work work and then this monday i got to go boating with some coworkers which was pretty fun i mean bae, power ...

my 18th was on Wednesday and lets just say it was an amazing day! it started off at work teaching swim lessons until noon. then i got to go boating with my favorites sayer and jess! thank goodness jess's boat started! :) i got some surfing in but no wake boarding, i just wasn't feelin it that day. we got home around 4:30 and i got ready for my birthday dinner at texas roadhouse. surprise surprise i got my 6 oz sirloin, with a ceasar salad and apple sauce. you would think i would venture out sometime but nope. 18 years and i'm still going strong on the same thing at every restaurant i go to! after dinner i got jake and we met cookie, kai, dragon, and parker at the drive in. we were going to see a fault in our stars. it was pretty good but honestly i like the book more. i feel like i woulda liked the movie more if i didn't know what was going to happen next. but it was still great! and i'm glad i got to see it even though jake and kai didn't want to! it wa...
