today november 6th begins a new chapter in my book i can't reread the last chapter anymore. i have turned a page and am ready to get writing this chapter is my "gospel chapter" today i'm starting the book of mormon i invite anyone reading this blog to also start reading it with me. my goal is at least 1 chapter a day, but hopefully more! it is also going to be a change of heart chapter. i haven't always been the most positive person and i have been really hard on myself in the past. but that changes. because... whatever happens never, ever, give up. that quote is my life right now. i'm ready for this change. and embracing it with an open heart. i want as many of you to join me as possible. i need people to hold me accountable for my goals. will you help? text me, message me or comment if you are in! i'm excited to see how this goes and am excited for you to join me. xoxo jordie

Life as of late has been a lot of work, school and work. not the funnest but last night was pretty awesome.  IT WAS HALLOWEEN OBVIOUSLY so I went to work then went to class. got my costume then got ready. the ward was having FHE down in Orem at Classic Skate it was such a blast because guess who came. for those of you in the ward you should get this.  ALLIE HALE she hasn't come to our ward in a few weeks we just couldn't handle it so we brought FHE to her in Orem! haha kidding but she was there and I was so happy because I miss her! after that i headed over to insomnia which was hot and gross and a lot of fun. i met up with ash the cutest deer around, and some of her friends!  they were such a blast.  after a little while i ran into the b11 boys  <----they def aren't the b11 boys anymore. but i ran into the snow boys and danced with them for a little.  it was good to catch up with them for a little  i miss them ...

these last few months have been pure heck to put it simply. being a young adult is one of the worst things ever. going to school while having to work to pay for school, then trying to fulfill church callings and have a social and dating life is actually impossible.  I have met some pretty amazing people these last few months and i am so happy to have so many new friendships! but there have also been a few old and new that are just added stress in my life. guys can i just say that those who say dating is a game, are obviously not dating the right people. dating shouldn't be a game, you shouldn't have to guess if they like you, if they don't, if they ever will again or if you're just wasting your time. it's the worst.  if you like someone TELL THEM. if you don't like someone DON'T LEAD THEM ON. that is the worst thing you can do to someone, is give them false hope. If you want to still be friends, great be friends just don't be a jerk about it...

so sorry its been a long time friends. but school started, nannying started and I am busier than ever. wanna hear about my life? great lets get started. well my fam is down to 1 car. the saturn died for good on me when i was on my way to take a test for one of my classes.. So that's awesome right? now we have 1 car where my dad needs to get to work, i need to get to work, school, get to Eden's for YMAD stuff and my internship, my mom needs to get to work and my brothers need to get to school all at different times. It's a joy honestly it is. Right now I literally have 0$ in my bank account because I had to pay tuition which is $6,000 at the U for me. Now I am gonna have to take out a loan for a car because i need one to get to my million places that my family now can't help with because our schedules suck. Which is stressing me out. I need to move out because 1 I hate this mountain more than anything. I would love to be closer to either work or school so its not ...

my summertime is coming to an end. summer 2016 wasn't as exciting as i hoped it would be. but i definitely didn't stay at home the whole summer (i house/baby/dog sat so i stayed at other people's houses STAYCATIONS) but it was still way fun. I met a whole bunch of people. who are sadly leaving me in just a few days to move back to Provo/Orem for school. A few are staying but not very many! :( This is why I don't like making friends, they all move away and then i have to make new friends, but all i wanna do is hang out with the old friends, but when i do make new friends it's too late and the new friends become old friends. wow ok i'm done. All honesty guys. I still am clueless as to what i am doing fall semester.. I have night classes so I can nanny in the morning, but I still don't have enough money for tuition so I need a really good job. k. I finally did something fun! Last weekend.. so ya know its a little late but its fine right? so my YSA (Young Single Adults) Ward took an overnight trip to Yuba lake, and I decided I should probably get to know some people in my ward because I am going to be with them for awhile. I invited Samantha to come with me, and thankfully she said yes and came. We started the trip off by getting treats cause who can survive a camping trip without treats? After we got our treats, we headed over to the church where it was all about our waivers (no joke 20 minutes of make sure you have your waiver filled out) (for a good reason, just reminds me a little of passports guys let me see your passports! @ my shaanti family) we finally were headed out around 5 o'clock. I mean now i am no longer a teen, but now i can't do anything new. no bars, no drinking, no nothing (not like i would do that anyways but ya know. nothing new. yesterday i went to breakfast with my girls sam, atalee and soph at village inn! then we headed over to a farmers market so soph could get her granola, pet a horse and try some curd! after that we went to the arts festival. where there were so many incredible artists there! it was incredible and my friends were incredible for taking me out there! i love those girls so much! Which made me want to do more crafting, decorating and creating. I still have a strong desire to decorate rooms/houses/parties, make banners, watercolor and so much more. I love crafts and making things.
