so today management came by looking for the router that someone has even though we aren't supposed to have one. they came into our apartment and amy was in awe about how clean our apartment was, she also said that she gives gifts to the cleanest apartments.. go me for being a clean freak and always doing the dishes, vacuuming and sweeping our house. Its great! i can't wait to get that gift basket! I'm so bored right now though so I thought I would start a post for today but now I realize that I have absolutely nothing to blog about.. Last night i was hanging out with Lauren and Nicole and C$ texted me saying that he was planning on surprising me this weekend but now his car is in the shop so he can't. And that makes me so sad. I was so excited that he would even come down here since he is definitely not a small town country lover. he is definitely a city boy. but he was gonna drive out of his way to come hang out with me and i straight up would have died.  ...

it amazes at some people. they are so nice. I am sitting in the library just typing an essay and this guy comes over to people by me and said he just came over to say hi and see how they were. okay that's sweet another time i was walking home from class and i dropped my book and this guy i'd never met before ran over and picked it up. (yeah kinda like the movies) but his name is Justin and are going to be great friends I have a feeling. then last week sometime there was a girl that has a problem with her legs and has to use crutch things. this girl ran up to her and started walking with her and just talking.  it was raining super hard last monday and i being an idiot didn't look outside before class to see what the weather would be like. but it was cold and i was late for class so i walked across campus in running shorts and a t shirt. when i get out of class it was raining hard core and katie pulls up next to me and offers me a ride home. she was my ange...

this past week has been pretty fun from the city wide power outage to driving to salina just to get dennys to going to the drive in. i am having the best time in college. i swear i say that in every blog.  I not going to lie am having a hard time with my roommates, they don't like to go out and adventure or meet new people or play sports or anything. they are room bodies and thats what they do. we don't really have much in common. like at all.  except Erin I get along really well with her, she understands my sarcasm and comes on walks with me to find new friends and I love it so much! She is hilarious and we have taken some of the funnest walks together. I feel like we are going to get pretty close this year. other than that i have gone on some pretty fun adventures with Nicole like the library till 11 at sledgehammer baseball last night.  Then going to denny's with Devree and Cassidy and a few of their friends. it was hilarious, and Spencer is easily o...

this week has been the longest week of my life it feels like..  and not much has even happened.. i honestly can't tell you everything that has happened because at the moment i don't remember it at all.. i do remember that during the city wide power outage i was over in C13 hanging out with those girls, and jumping in the huge puddles and playing in the rain was a blast. except  the only part of me that was dry was the very top of my pants.  then i went to FHE cause ya know i am the coordinator for that.  so i went with Erin and Lexie and we met Brandon, Aaron, Justin, Lexie, Lauren and a few others. i have a feeling our ward is going to be a blast! :) but then we got home and it was still power outage and everyone was playing a huge game of fugitive. we were waiting for forever for the game to start and the power came back on so ya know those college students 1/2 of them went back inside. but we played anyways and Erin and I were the first gi...

i honestly have no idea why everyone is always so terrified of college and being on your own. today in sacrament meeting so many people got up and said that they were so scared to move out and be on their own and blah blah blah.  i don't know why. like yeah i'm sad i don't get to be so close to my family but now i have a new family a d 23 family. like yeah i liked going shopping with my mom and hanging out with my dad. I wasn't like dying to be out on my own but i wasn't completely dependant on my parents. I have been paying for all my own stuff for a long time now. yes my parents paid for my house and appliances and all that fun stuff but this past year I have: -gotten a full tuition scholarship to snow + a total of $7,000 dollars to SUU and USU -paid $4,000+ to go to India -bought myself a tablet -paid for my full housing -bought all of my college textbooks -bought myself a new laptop  I don't know why but I don't like having peopl...

^^ Nicole and I yesterday was pretty fun. other than my 4:30 shift and my basically broken back of course i went to my two classes and then came home and took a nap. then i went shopping with nicole and it was great because these really attractive guys with dirt bikes were in the car behind us.. we just have to meet them now! :) they don't live too far away apparently. but then i came home and took another nap because i didn't feel good at all. ^^C11(?) girls + me then there was a "big" party happening across the street so nicole and i went over there..but it was a total bust. it looked like there were a ton of people there but there weren't when you went inside.. so we went bowling with her roommates. and that was fun even though i didn't feel good at all. i didn't want to sit inside all day cause i was bored because so many people were on the wifi last night.. it was insane i couldn't even connect! but bowling was hilarious...
