so its basically christmas break because literally in EVERY class I had today we had a catch up day (1) or watched a movie (3) it was amazing.. EXCEPT the fact that the Saturn broke down too.. really the van about a month ago and now the Saturn.. a family of 7 (with 4 drivers that need to be different places) in one car? yeah i don't think so! this is no bueno! i need a car so badly. if anyone needs me to babysit, or shovel, or clean or anything PLEASE CALL ME. i need money. i am saving up but i feel like the amount of money i am saving up is going no where cause Bodacious Tasty Treats went out of business! Freak!  and i still don't know what to get my friends for Christmas.. oh man this is difficult! but i did have THEE best car ride home with Sarah, Joe and Spencer.. They will definitely be seeing more of me!  we are talking about girls asking guys on dates at 16 (which is cool right?) and Spencer says, "Wait is that a family rule or something?" oh Spencer...

my dad is a crazy kid let me tell ya. 1st of all he passed a super important test today at work! woohoo dad! :) so he took the whole family out to texas roadhouse.. and man oh man there is nothing better in this planet than texas roadhouse rolls. they are like to die for!  after dinner taylor and i headed over to the mall to do some christmas shopping since it is SO CLOSE TO CHRISTMAS hallelujah! it seems like time is going by so fast cause i swear just yesterday i was going to the Halloween dance. but it was great we honked at some guys and they were super confused it was prime.. today was pretty great actually. -i got hot chocolate with emily winegar and courtney keim   (can i just tell you they have the best stories) -my dad passed -we went to texas road house -i got some christmas shopping done -NO HOMEWORK tomorrow we basically are having a party in every class cause lets face it if they wanna try and teach us anything tomorrow NO ONE will remember ...

Yesterday I woke up and could barely move.  Man was I sore. I was getting ready and I slipped in the shower which gave me a nasty bruise to start the day. But then my winter dance date Paul came and got me and we went ice skating. It was so fun can I just say that and Candace is a pretty good skater. Slow and steady can slow and steady. But she didn't fall once so it was all good.  Chase Westerlind and I raced and ha ha ha ha I kicked his trashed. There was no way he could recover from that ;)  Then our group decided to race so we did and I took third but I'm pretty sure I should have won for the hardest hit into the wall. I now understand hockey!  Then we got to dinner and had a little sing-a-long to the piano which was exactly what happened the day before.  But it was amazing. Emily and chase should be in choir. Doing solos  At the dance man on man did I have energy?! I was going nuts! It was so funny. I was so glad Candace was in my group cause ...

So this week has probably been the best week ever!   -braces off  -temple square -the dance -hanging out with josh and Ry -a night of music at the cheneys -a week with Sarah -answering to the dance  -ballsy Thursday  -the hobbit -zurchers -almost dying  -Sarah's driving skills -hanging out with jake and Powell -being clapped at in financial lit and seminary -candaces choir concert -uswirl with jenny, anna, candace, ali, sarah and ryan -I feel like there is so much more too   But i forgot some :/ on Tuesday Sarah and I went to Candace (and Ryan and David)'s choir concert and man it was amazing!  truely amazing! :) these kids have talent! and Cassidy Cook sounded just like the girl that sings in the shower in Elf. okay so as almost everyone in america knows i got my braces off today! :) it was amazing!  before school me and my girls took my LAST picture with braces! :) i could barely last through first period..ask jake. i kept moving and couldn't sit still!  then when i left i was making a beeline to Omana's office. I followed a car that was going 25 TWENTY FIVE in a 40 MPH zone..i couldn't even believe what was happening!  once i got there they were stalling for about 10 minutes and then i sat in the chair and Jen got right to work. pop. pop. pop. pop. pop. off they went within sitting in the chair for less than 5 minutes. then she polished them and kept saying i couldn't stop smiling.. well no der woman i've waited 5 years for this day! after she did that Omana was like "JEN! i wasn't gonna take those off today!" i gave him the dirtiest look EVER. like no joke. it was the meanest look of all mean looks. apparently my dad called them to play a joke ...

So I got asked to the Christmas dance shocker I know.. I was surprised too don't worry  Paul asked me! :)  He asked right as my parents were getting home from dinner. Hahah prime. My dad was in the garage so they were scared and called Ashleigh or Candace I can't remember but they finally did it. But when they did my mom was chillin in the circle getting the mail and watched em do the whole thing!!  He asked my by saying Jordyn I would be delighted if you went to the dance with me. With a whole bunch of candles with his name on the bottom He asked me on Tuesday so I answered on Sunday cause Sarah wanted to come. We answered him by saying " I would love to glow to the dance with you" and put glow sticks spelling out yes!  I love that we do that in Utah. It's so great! I already know how I'm asking to sweethearts even though I don't know who I am asking yet. But I better quick cause girls are PSYCHO literally! They are gonna ask the week after Christ...

So this week has been crazy slow and I am going to blame it all ony neighbor josh Lansberry! He said the last days before he got his braces off went slow. But mine went slower than ever. There were a few factors in that.  - I was sick so it just felt like everyday was dragging on for years on end.  - I had no homework to do so I had many hours everyday to do nothing  - it's been way snowy and whenever it snows it feels like forever as well ( this one is totally okay though cause I wanna go sledding!! ) - I babysat on Friday night from 5-11:30 and man oh man the James kid are crazy. Crazy fun! We had a total party but that wore me out.  - I babysat on Saturday morning for the Despains. Oh my cute that's all I have to say I love those kids they are adorable!! But that seemed to last forever too ( also not a bad thing cause charolette is the cutest baby ever ) -plus a few more But last night crazy snow storm right so Ashleigh and I were at a friends and we neede...
