so as most of you thought..i hadn't gotten asked to prom, but guess what? i did go! prom: Whether you've dreamed about prom night since you still wore footie pajamas, or even the thought of dancing in public gives you butterflies in your stomach, prom is a night you’ll never forget. Of course, you may remember it as being cool, funny, embarrassing, awesome or totally lame the night depends on you. Prom is a day that every little girl dreams about, every teenage girl experiences, and every woman looks back on. Prom night is a night w here looking like a princess is expected, and you dance the night away. it can also be the most stressful and hectic day of the year i imagine weddings will be somewhat like this. so my day went a little like this... wait lets back it up a little here is how my friday went. my friends kidnapped me after school and took me to go get some u-swirl because they are amazing, they wrote me notes and made me cry..again.. it was so sweet...

okay everyone! here it is week 7 of spiritual sunday..can you belive its already been 7 weeks this year? it feels like no time at all! well here are my notes for today! notes: -we can't change the things that happen to us in our lives but we can change our attitude towards them. -music is an awesome way to feel the spirit. -eternal life: exaltation in the highest of heavens. -immortality: living forever -eternal life and immortality together: living together with God forever. -today 9 kids bore their testimony and that was probably the cutest thing, little kids are such great examples to us all! -we will be "stuck" in our degree of glory we attain we will be able to go lower but not higher. -your divine nature are things you do/learn here on Earth to help you in the next life. -through the little things we need to be undaunting and faithful -kittens turn to cats, puppies turn to dogs, children of God turn into Gods, are you prepared for that? -we have a list ...

this week has honestly been dragging on for about 3 years now..that's what it feels like. a lot of things have changed, people, places, everything and i don't like it! okay well i like change i just don't like that people are changing.. its making me sad to see everyone go to new places with their life! here are a few pictures that i absolutely love that have gotten me through the week..short post today sorry. a few "set" of tears were shed this week.. reminding me of my perfect night to come. prom wont even be comparable to it anyway. good things just find their way to you sometimes i'm trying i really am xoxo jordyn standage

okay so i am honestly trying to be a positive person, especially this week, but today i couldn't take it.  during the Junior Assembly I was very impressed with everything! -Way to be Josie for singing the National Anthem so amazing! -and for the royalty videos i have some "awards"  <Sydney and Kramers was just plain cool, i mean the cars, planes, everything it was amazing!  <Becca and Hunter yours was the most comical  Seriously I just loved the awkwardness and could totally see that happening..just kidding! but it was hilarious  <Bizzy and Billy....i don't even know what to say, you guys are just straight up in love! i know it! i can totally tell that your video will become a total reality one day ;) yours was the most "true"  (Totally kidding! but i loved the Harlem Shake!) -the prom theme video..oh man! it was to good! did you see me on screen for that .2 seconds that i was? cause it was pretty sick if you ask me! i'll be at the show...

Today is a kind of crazy day because Ry is getting his mission call TOMORROW! holy freak, that is so soon! I am so happy he is getting it and I can go watch him open it! He is such a great example to me! There are Mission calls flying left and right, farewells and homecomings and its just so overwhelming! Congrats to Trey Thayer (Alabama), Jon Lee (England), Braden Bowen (Alaska), Tayler Dibble (Russia) + so many more putting their papers soon like Josh McIff! :) I am so proud of all you boys! Come the end of the year and they are all going to be gone! I don't know how I feel about that.. well I love it, but I am sad I can't hang out with them for 2 whole years! That's crazy! But they are going to leave us for 2 years so others can be with their family for eternity, and im 100% okay with that! I am getting antsy to know where Ry is going I can't even imagine how excited he is to open it! He's going to cry he even says so himself. So if he cries i'll probably ...

this past thursday might have been the longest day of my life..i know i already posted about the morning side here  but i started my day off with that. then i went to school like any other day. but instead of going to 4th period i got checked out to watch my little brother in MacBeth. Jaden Johnson and I went back to Sunrise together which was pretty crazy and extremely weird! His little sister was a Fat Lady and my little brother was a cheerleader..fitting huh? ;) They did great! the play was awesome, jaden and i still sang along to all of the songs and did actions. it was so funny because Jaden was a soldier in the play when we did it in 6th grade but this year the kids beat them by a long shot because they did gangnam style off the stage! hilarious..those guys got into it so much! at the end of the play they said it was the last year they were going to do it after 11 years of doing it, which is way sad! But it was super cool because they asked anyone in the audience who had...

okay i know this is way super duper late and all but i still have to post about it cause it was probably the funniest thing to see josh so drugged up! so he had a 20 minute video which was very entertaining, he had the hiccups, he talked about zosh, but most of all he was so out of it! he had quite a few good/hilarious lines so naturally i kept a list of them and here it is!  =Zosh is so much faster than Flash but Flash is better than Zosh because Zosh just rips off his shirt and punches Powell.
