so last week was the 24th but i have to back up to the 23rd to fully tell this story.. I worked 6am to noon then 4:30 to 9pm. i stayed up till midnight then on the 24th i had another 6 am to noon then had to come back to work at 3-6... it sucked but not even cause the 6 am split shifts.. listen to this. so bae (Holden) came to swim and we were just watching him and berbs was annoyed that he came so he hid his towel in the girls locker room locker 25. but then bae got out and he freaked out and it was hilarious until he took me as hostage with eli and josh just watching...berbs said they don't negotiate with terrorists and that's when bae threw me in. yes HE THREW ME IN IN FULL SWEATS. that's not cool.. throwing me in yeah that's usual.. in full sweats thats not. i was gonna kill him. i still hate him right now. after that we didn't think anyone would come swimming cause its a utah holiday. but we had one swimmer. so i went out to guard for him. i go out there an...

     shoot, i am really bad at this lately its been rough this summer.. no real journeys with jordyn. I wish i was going to california or something to end my summer but no i am working working working. BUT I AM ALMOST READY TO BUY A CAR. Finally! ^^ Josh (berbs)     So just so you know the few journeys i go on always involve food. I hang out with Berbs and C$ basically everyday. and we never actually do anything. we go out to get food (Smash burger, ihop, dennys, mcdonalds, daylight doughnuts, buffalo wild wings, krispy kreme, dunkin doughnuts) yeah we are some fat lifeguards. ^^ Christian (C$ or Black Dynamite)  but other than getting food we like to sit in the clubhouse parking lot and talk about life. if i wasn't there it would be just cars and girls and stupid stuff they have done. but since im there they talk about cars, girls, stupid stuff they have done and they ask me about my life. (aka just make fun of me cause of the human ken doll)....

so its been awhile since i blogged and honestly not much has happened. but on the 4th of july i worked all day. and it was crazy. we had a few saves and a kid throw up in the pool... we really shouldn't give out free hot dogs.. not that smart. but anyways that was just straight up terrible. i lost my chapstick, i got stuck on break with one of my least favorite guards, i broke my sun glasses, i forgot my food, and it was just plain madness at the pool.. but after work i came home took a nap then went to riverton town days for a little and hung out with a few friends there then went over to the splash park with my coworkers for a night on my toes.. no joke i stood on top of the table for half the night because all the guys were throwing fireworks at my feet. but my coworkers are the best and i wouldn't have wanted to spend the 4th anywhere else! then a ton of work work work and then this monday i got to go boating with some coworkers which was pretty fun i mean bae, power ...

my 18th was on Wednesday and lets just say it was an amazing day! it started off at work teaching swim lessons until noon. then i got to go boating with my favorites sayer and jess! thank goodness jess's boat started! :) i got some surfing in but no wake boarding, i just wasn't feelin it that day. we got home around 4:30 and i got ready for my birthday dinner at texas roadhouse. surprise surprise i got my 6 oz sirloin, with a ceasar salad and apple sauce. you would think i would venture out sometime but nope. 18 years and i'm still going strong on the same thing at every restaurant i go to! after dinner i got jake and we met cookie, kai, dragon, and parker at the drive in. we were going to see a fault in our stars. it was pretty good but honestly i like the book more. i feel like i woulda liked the movie more if i didn't know what was going to happen next. but it was still great! and i'm glad i got to see it even though jake and kai didn't want to! it wa...

its june 21st.. meaning only 4 days until my birthday. 4 days until I'm 18. I have no idea what I am going to do, but ya know that's cool.. this past week i have worked, hung out with my YMAD fam, worked, and went out with some coworkers. Monday morning, work got rained out so Berbs, Eli, Cooper and Holden (my old bae;) ) went out to eat at Ihop and it was so funny I love days like that because my co workers are hilarious! I got to see Em, Soph and Tan on Monday night, we just hung out at Sophies and just caught up with each other. Tuesday- i was supposed to work all day but it was rainy bad weather so i didn't and i went out to get food with Berbs, Holden and Jack to do the food round up for everyone who was working that day, they were playing a live game of dungeons and dragons and i was going to kill them all by the time we got back to the clubhouse. just ask C$ he heard about it all. then the rest of the day i spent hanging out at the clubhouse and falling asleep...

so its summer, yet i have worked all day basically all day. i have worked 4 all days + swim lessons and i am exhausted so this week monday and thursday i am off at noon and its the greatest thing of my life. i love working cause i love all (cough) my coworkers so much.. honestly they are the greatest people! ^^(left to right) Coop, Berbs, C-$, (back) spencer,  Jack, Anthony, Z Money Train, Talon today was short short sunday and i thought i would just share with you this picture the boys made me take today... yeah i was the only girl working with these white hairy legs all day.. it was quite an adventure. we listened to disco music basically all day and the boys put on quite a show especially berbs and c$ those boys just kill me! but this week its drive in movies, bridge jumping, sleeping, getting rid of my lifeguard tan lines, and just relaxing all week basically.. I am now a Corner Canyon High School Alumni.. what? That is so weird for me to say because I swear just yesterday I was walking into Alta High School for the first time as a baby sophomore, now I walked out of Corner Canyon High School as an alumni. Can I just tell you about my high school career? Sophomore year: I came to school on the first day of school with no best friends. I had friends cause we had all just come from the same middle school but I had no best friends from middle school anymore. I was terrified until Ashleigh and Candace came to my rescue, we had the best year together and have so many memories that were some of the funniest ones I have. I mean its not everyday when Ashleigh has lettuce come out of her nose! But sophomore year ended and I spent the summer with those two girls and geez we were a good time. Junior year: I had two best friends that I loved more than life itself. And at the Halloween dance we adopted Sarah into our friend group and the 4 of us...
